Voigt-Logistik, the largest logistics company in Schleswig-Holstein, has officially opened its new charging infrastructure at the Neumünster site. The installation consists of two fast chargers with 400 kW each, as well as the company’s first Mercedes eActros 600. With this step, Voigt is sending a strong signal for the electrification of heavy-duty transport.
By 2026, the company plans to expand its fleet to a total of ten fully electric trucks. With this strategy, Voigt is consistently advancing the transition towards climate-friendly logistics and underlines that electric mobility is a key success factor for the future of the industry.
For Voigt, electrification is not just about charging infrastructure, but above all about the efficient and economic use of energy. Electricity prices, charging times and vehicle availability must be balanced in daily operations – one of the major challenges for logistics companies.
To address this challenge, Voigt relies on IO-Dynamics. The intelligent charging and fleet management system connects charging infrastructure, vehicles, and PV system into one reliable and efficient setup. This enables predictive charging, reduces energy costs, stabilises the grid and maximises the use of photovoltaic energy. In this way, Voigt builds a sustainable and economical foundation for the electrified fleet.
The benefits go beyond the e-trucks themselves: forklifts and other warehouse vehicles are also integrated, so that the entire operation profits from optimised energy management.
With the combination of high-performance charging infrastructure, one of the first eActros 600 trucks in the state and a clear roadmap for further electric trucks, Voigt-Logistik demonstrates how the transformation of heavy-duty transport can be put into practice.
We sincerely thank Voigt-Logistik for the trust and close cooperation in this forward-looking project.
